Hire / Contract an FDE

Need an FDE without adding permanent headcount?

Engage Enable FDE directly for a production sprint or embedded engineering engagement. This is delivery, not recruitment: Enable FDE is accountable for the deployment outcome, not for producing a shortlist.

01

When a contract FDE makes sense

You have a real deployment problem now, but the shape of the permanent role is still unclear; the work is cross-functional; or the problem needs senior ownership for a bounded period rather than another long hiring process.

02

What the engagement looks like

Start with a defined outcome and access to the relevant operators, systems and code. Use a fixed-scope sprint where the boundary is clear, or an embedded weekly engagement where discovery and implementation have to happen together.

03

What you are not buying

This is not a developer rented into a ticket queue and it is not a recruitment placement. The engagement is measured against a deployment outcome and includes hands-on production engineering.

04

Where

Barcelona on-site is available. Remote embedded work is available across Spain, the UK and Europe.

FAQ

Common questions.

Can I hire an FDE as a contractor?

Yes. Enable FDE provides fixed-scope and embedded contract delivery rather than permanent placement.

Can an FDE work with our existing engineering team?

Yes. The normal model is to work inside the client team, repo and delivery process rather than forming a separate outsourced product team.

What should we prepare before starting?

A specification is not required. Access to the people doing the work, the relevant systems and a clear business outcome is more useful.

Start with an outcome that matters.

You do not need a complete specification to start.
